Wechsel Exogen 2 Tent - Green

The Wechsel Exogen 2 tent is a freestanding hybrid tent for two people - including two vestibules. Two aluminum gusset points on the poles ensure high wind stability. The inner tent of the Exogen 2 is pitched first. The additional pole bend forms the vestibules as soon as the outer tent is stretched over it. For very light weather protection, the outer tent can be pitched on its own using the groundsheet. The inner tent is equipped with mosquito gauze in the doors and at the foot and head ends. Three additional inner tent pockets keep things tidy and provide space for small items lying around.

The pack size is handy and optimized for bike packing. With a pack size length of 45 cm, the tent fits easily into a handlebar roll. The rainproof pack sack can be attached to the handlebars with Velcro straps or straps, even without a handlebar roll. The pack sack is also variable in length. Removing the linkage reduces the length of the pannier to 25 cm. In this way, the pack sack only contains the inner and outer tent. The poles can be stowed where they fit better, e.g. in a frame bag.

Dyneema guy lines
The guy lines are made of extremely tensile Dyneema. Woven-in reflective threads make the guy lines more visible. The linelocks allow easy and secure adjustment.

APEX ventilation flaps
The APEX ventilation flaps are located at the apex of the wind flow hitting the tent. Here, the wind creates positive pressure on the side facing the tent and negative pressure on the other side at the same time. They are also incorporated into the design seams. They do not need to be tensioned separately and lie flat when closed thanks to the Velcro tape, which prevents annoying flapping in the wind.

Color-coded poles
The pole end tips and the corresponding pole channel entrances are color-coded. This makes pitching quick and easy.

Inner tent - outer tent connection
The connection between the inner and outer tent is practical and sustainable. The elastic can be knotted tighter or easily replaced if necessary.

Upsidedown buckles
The connection between the inner and outer tent is decidedly easy to handle using buckles. In addition, anyone, whether an experienced outdoorsman or not, can pull the flysheet taut as the buckles are attached in the direction of pull. Fiddly pegging is no longer necessary.

Mosquito net and inner tent
The inner tent is made of a breathable and water-repellent fabric that prevents condensation from penetrating the inside of the tent and allows it to roll off the outside of the inner tent. The vents equipped with mosquito nets are located in the upper half of the inner tent. This ensures a good exchange of air without creating an unpleasant draught in the tent.

Double loops
Double loops allow two different tensioning options.

Adjustable peg loops
The peg loops are infinitely adjustable. This makes the tent easy to tension and the pegs can be set flexibly.

Rectangular cut inner tents
The tunnel tents have a rectangular cut and do not taper at the foot end. A rectangular floor plan is particularly practical for thick sleeping mats so that the mats do not overlap at the foot end.

Combined construction, 2 in 1
With the Tempest, Pioneer and Halos, the inner tent can remain attached to the flysheet. This makes combined pitching quick and easy.
