Superlight, ultrabreathable over shorts, engineered with durable, abrasion-resistant textiles, secure zeroPressure waist construction, and an all-new treatment protective against water and mud.
Assos' TRAIL Cargo Shorts feature critical updates, including lighter materials and construction. They also adapt the zeroPressure Waist technology from Assos' road equipment, which uses highly elastic material and silicone grip to lock the shorts in place with an unrestrictive, frictionless hold. The new Water & Mud Shield Tec is unique to TACTICA, repelling trail spray and mud while expelling internal moisture and drying fast to reduce weight gained through moisture soaking in. Two pockets provide zippered and triple ramp security, and bonded hems eliminate weight and friction between system layers. Reflective strips on the back of the legs help maintain visibility while riding to and from the trailhead.

- Type.OF11 is a high-density woven textile that resists abrasion without impeding breathability. Four-way stretch accommodates a full range of motion without sagging or deforming vertically, and waist fit is supplemented with an upgrade to Tech Sheen Mesh, which is inserted across the front as part of the zeroPressure Waist construction.
- TRAIL fit is the ASSOS take on ill-fitting baggies, featuring a more streamlined, low-volume cut that follows the body’s motion without restriction.
