Rim Design

Although the design and manufacture of rims with hooks is somewhat more complex than hookless rims, DT Swiss have decided to produce the new CRC 1400 SPLINE as a hooked rim for the following reasons: Safety - It ensures a secure tire fit, ideal for tough cyclocross conditions. Freedom of Choice - It allows the choice of a wider range of tire types, sizes, systems and manufacturers.

SPLINE® Technology

Straightpull spokes, crossed depending on the application, extremely lightweight hubs and elaborately manufactured rims, which have all DT Swiss features, make the SPLINE® wheels perfect competition and training partners.

Straightpull technology

Straightpull stands for straight, unbent spokes. Thanks to this technology it is possible to achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability. The Straightpull spokes allow a very precise alignment and optimized positioning in the wheel and thus provide a stiffer and more responsive wheel.

DT Pro Lock® Technology

Injection-molded into the nipples, this bolt-locking system allows for the construction of extremely durable wheels.
