The Tubolito Tubo MTB Plus bicycle tube is optimized for tires with the E-MTB standard with a width of 2.5" to 3.0". The low weight of only 105 g (27.5") supports the battery charge runtime. Also a lightweight alternative for tubeless riders. As with the classic Tubo, the Plus variant can also save more than 100 g per wheel compared to standard butyl tubes, with almost half the pack size. The puncture resistance is twice as high as standard tubes in terms of puncture, which provides maximum protection against a breakdown. Installation is just as convenient as with comparable products made of butyl. Tubolito tubes are a lightweight alternative for tubeless riders.

Designed, developed and manufactured in Europe

Tubolito tubes made of the high-tech material thermoplastic can withstand forces two times higher than standard tubes. The material can be stretched more than four times, providing maximum protection from a puncture.

Tubolito hoses under test

A 0.75 mm test mandrel travels at a defined speed through a pre-drilled hole in the casing. Tire pressure is 2.0 bar. The force and the distance to the tire burst are recorded. Tubolito is clearly convincing here: the puncture resistance is twice as high as that of standard tubes in terms of puncture.
