One of the main reasons that the XX Eagle Transmission drivetrain system provides the best shifting characteristics even under load, is the perfectly matched T-Type cassette. The cassette and the rear derailleur of the XX Eagle series are designed as integrated and interdependent transmission components that mesh directly with each other to ensure perfect alignment on any bike.

The stronger the rider pedals, the more the Full X-SYNC™ tooth design of the XS-1297 cassette plays out its potential and improves the shifting performance accordingly. With the help of the large 52-tooth sprocket, the 12-speed cassette not only comes to a huge gear range of 520 %, but is also much more durable and precise. This is thanks to a lower chain angle across the entire range. But also the X-DOME™ design of the sprocket unit (gear 4 to 12) benefits the durability, while the optimized gear gradation in the lower range provides a smoother shifting behavior.

X-SYNC™ | The sophisticated tooth design with high, square edges ensures maximum performance and durability. Not only the narrow, sharp tooth profile grips the chain earlier than teeth with the traditional triangular shape, also the rounded chamfer edges support the chain's guidance. In addition, to withstand adverse conditions, X-SYNC™ chainrings are provided with mud-repellent recesses, which protect the links and rollers of the chain from dirt.

X-DOME™ | The one-piece design of the X-DOME™ technology creates incredibly light, precise and robust cassettes. The open design not only repels dirt better, it also gives the component a longer life and smoother shifting performance.
