Park Tool FR-7 Freewheel Remover for Falcon Freewheels

The Park Tool FR-7 Cassette Removal Tool has 12 splines with an outside diameter of 23mm and was originally designed for Falcon® brand freewheels but may fit others with those specific measurements. Heat treated alloy tool steel, one inch base fits wrench or bench vise. Thin wall construction allows use without removal of cones and locknuts. 

Features of the Park Tool FR-7 Freewheel Remover for Falcon Freewheels

• Center bore for axle clearance is 10mm
• Always use a skewer or axle nut to hold tool firmly in place during removal
• NOTE: The shape of the FR-7 looks similar to the FR-1.3 (for Shimano®, Sun Race®, Sachs® and similar freewheels). The FR-7, however, is made with a slightly larger outside diameter (23mm) to fit the Falcon® Freewheel. To make it easy to distinguish between the two removers, the FR-7 has a silver-colored plating. The slightly smaller diameter FR-1.3 is black.
