Gates Carbon Drive CDN Belt - black

The Gates CDN system is specifically designed for use on city and everyday bikes. Bikes that are ridden in wind and weather and parked at the station or outside the home. Bikes where reliability is especially important. The CDN system is a quiet, clean, low-maintenance drive for everyday urban use and is based on the same carbon fiber technology as Gates top components.

In the CDN, the belt's Carbon fibers are embedded in a polymer-based plastic. Ease of maintenance is a higher priority for CDN components than durability compared to the other Gates groups. However, their service life still considerably exceeds that of a regular bicycle chain. This belt thus offers a particularly inexpensive introduction to Gates technology.
