Threading tool for bottom brackets

With the threading tool it is possible to create optimal coaxiality of the thread inside the bottom bracket housing. Turn the threading tool evenly clockwise to avoid damage to the existing thread.

Preparation:

• Remove the plastic transport cover from the taps.
• Insert the taps into their drive on T-holders.
• Screw the guiding axle into the T-holder and fix the taps with the lock nut.

Use:

• Before you start with thread chasing, clean the bottom bracket housing.
• Insert both halfs of the tool into the bottom bracket housing simultaneously. This way you will avoid jamming and damaging of the existing thread.
• Please note, that the tool is can be used for thread chasing only, not for cutting a new thread.

Tip:

• Use plenty of cutting oil during the work. We also recommend to regularly clean and lubricate the tool with cutting oil to extend its life cycle.
