Details of the Fizik Terra Ergolace GTX MTB shoes
The Terra Ergolace is popular with trail bikers, bikepackers and long-distance riders alike. It is flexible and designed so that it can be used on gravel tracks as well as single trails without any problems. Its supportive fit makes it the ideal choice for extended adventures where comfort is paramount. The casual look is another plus point for its versatility, perfect for all bike travelers who need a shoe that can be used anywhere. Thanks to the three-layer waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, cyclists can enjoy their adventures to the full. It offers protection from the elements and keeps feet dry. The durable ripstop fabric upper is abrasion and tear resistant, while a PU-laminated toe cap and side reinforcements provide additional protection and durability. For greater comfort, the ergonomic Ergolace closure hugs the foot to ensure an optimum fit. When designing the Ergolace, care was taken to ensure that it does not look as bulky as other mountain bike shoes and that you can relax in it after a day on the bike.
The X2 sole increases the versatility of the shoe. It was developed to achieve an optimal balance between efficiency, flexibility, comfort and control. The EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning, while the Vibram tread provides grip and traction no matter what the conditions. The directional Pofil ensures a secure grip. The lugs have just the right spacing and depth to bite into soft ground and are made from a unique rubber compound that offers secure grip even on slippery surfaces.
