When it comes to optimum shifting performance, chainrings with LevaTime technology from Praxis Works are in a class of their own. The complex arrangement of climbing aids, cutouts, ramps and tooth shapes is precisely calculated from the small to the large chainring and in no way a coincidence. Thus, the chain changes its position absolutely controlled and efficient.

The current LT2 models made of cold forged aluminum represent another improvement, especially in combination with the X-Spider, to enable even more biting, but by no means ungentle shifting operations. The increased bolt circle diameter of 160/104 mm also minimizes torsion within the chainring for an even more efficient drivetrain system and even more shifting precision.

Cold Forged | Praxis Works uses a special cold forging process for all its chainrings, which allows more complex shaping for the tooth profile. Since so-called "One-Shot" process makes it possible to increase the amount of shifting aids on the chainring, which would hardly be possible with conventional CNC manufacturing processes. Over 1,000 tons of pressure create an extremely hard and tough surface that offers maximum durability. Individual tooth profiles, changing tooth angles, synchronized lanes and tactically placed shift ramps are the features that ensure smooth shifting.

LevaTime II | Design. Build. Ride. Repeat. Praxis Works has the proven LevaTime chainrings, which were the result of relentless testing and numerous optimizations, once again fundamentally revised to provide even faster and smoother shifting. To increase the number and type of switching functions, the LT2 X-Rings are 5 mm stronger and correspondingly stiffer. On this basis, new types of forged shift pins can also be used, which engage more quickly and improve the shifting speed accordingly. The whole is held together by the forged and also reinforced LT2 X-Spider.
