- Two-way messaging - stay connected even without a mobile network. Thanks to two-way communication, you can stay in touch with your loved ones from anywhere in the world.
- Get help with the SOS button - In an emergency, send an interactive SOS message to Garmin Response℠, a 24/7 emergency coordination center.
- Share your current location - Share your trip with your loved ones. Share your position in real time via MapShare™ or send them your coordinates with a text message.
- Global satellite network - Thanks to the Iridium satellite network, you can send and receive messages and send SOS emergency calls worldwide in regions without mobile phone reception.
- A tariff that suits you - An active satellite subscription is required to access the Iridium network and communicate with the inReach Mini 2. You can take out an annual contract or opt for a flexible tariff on a monthly basis.
- Compact and extremely robust - Only 4-inch x 2-inch in size and 100 g in weight. The inReach Mini 2 is robust, durable, shockproof (MIL-STD-810) and waterproof to IPX7.
- TracBack routing - With the TracBack routing function, you can't get lost. Your device will guide you back the way you came.
- Digital compass - Get precise heading information even when you're not moving. So you never lose your bearings.
- Battery life - The integrated lithium-ion battery has a runtime of up to 14 days in standard mode with 10-minute tracking. In energy-saving mode, the battery even lasts up to 30 days.
- Stay informed about the weather - Receive detailed weather updates on your inReach Mini 2 or another paired compatible device. You can even request forecasts for the current position and other waypoints or destinations on the route.
- Unlimited cloud storage - Get free access to the cloud-based Garmin Explore website to plan trips, create message templates and instant messages, sync and manage device settings, and more.
- Garmin Explore app - Sync your device to the Garmin Explore website or mobile app on your compatible smartphone and use navigation features, waypoints, tracks, activities and collections. Also get access to route planning and topographic maps.
- Pair with other Garmin devices - Use the inReach Mini 2 wirelessly to send and receive messages, start and stop tracking and trigger an interactive SOS emergency call with compatible Garmin handsets, wearables or other mobile devices.
- Garmin Messenger™ app - Download the Garmin Messenger app to your compatible smartphone and pair it with your inReach Mini 2 to quickly and easily send messages and make an emergency SOS call 24/7. You are not tied to mobile phone coverage. The app also supports group messaging.
- Garmin Pilot™ app - Connect the device to the Garmin Pilot app to easily send and receive SMS messages in the cockpit - even without cellular coverage. The app can use functions of the inReach Mini 2, such as the GPS position and sharing the position for your flight.
