Rohloff recommends changing the oil in the Speedhub 500/14 gear hub once a year or every 5,000 km. This ensures that there is always a sufficient amount of oil in the gearbox in the event of oil loss due to sweat oil and that any abrasion or water that has penetrated is flushed out. The scope of delivery of this set is sufficient for 10 oil changes
