The BT-E8014 battery from Shimano is conceived for mounting on the down tube of the frame. The design, which is especially suitable for use on the E-MTB, is characterized by a flat profile, the impact and vibration-resistant construction as well as its waterproofness.

Thanks to the 1st generation STePS battery management system and the capacity of 418 Wh, riders benefit from shorter charging times with a sufficiently long range. And the compact lithium-ion battery is also durable: even after more than 1,000 charging cycles, 60 % of the original capacity is still retained.
