The hubs of the 600 and 500 series were developed to better withstand the enormous torques of aggressive Trail Riding. In order to achieve the necessary sealing performance, the corresponding models are equipped with a bearing that features high-quality labyrinth and contact seals. Also the Shimano FH-TC500 rear hubs benefit from this feature and are not only suitable for mountain bikes, but also for E-bike, Trekking and City use. Furthermore, the aluminum hubs with Centerlock brake disc mount are characterized by its low weight and high rigidity.
