The ST-EF515 lever unit, which is compatible with the components of the Shimano ESSA series, allows both finely modulated braking as well as smooth and precise shifting. With its adjustable reach, the brake/shift lever is also suitable for a wide range of sporting applications.

The entire system is characterized by its ergonomic design, which is also reflected in the seamless integration of the 3-finger brake lever. With this, beginners achieve a braking force comparable to that of the BL-MT200 brake levers, resulting in stable and reliable braking performance. The two shift levers of the EZ Fire Plus system are also easy to control and impress with their low actuation force. While the easy-to-read optical gear display (OGD) is a benefit in terms of comfort, the ability of bleeding via a funnel ensures easy maintenance.

EZ Fire Plus |Also equipped with 2 shift levers, EZ Fire Plus is inspired by Shimano's tried-and-tested Rapidfire Plus system, but is designed more for optimum interaction with sports and leisure bikes. Accordingly, the principle of shifting to a larger sprocket with the thumb and to a smaller sprocket with the index finger remains unchanged.
