The Shimano FH-TC500 is a stiff and lightweight rear hub for reliable trail performance. The hub is easy to install and is equipped with industrial bearings.
The aluminum freehub with 22 evenly spaced teeth keeps the cassette firmly in place for immediate response and allows the use of a 10-tooth sprocket. The smaller and wider teeth compared to the usual Hyperglide freehub bodies also prevent damage to the rotor.
The tool-free thru-axle system optimizes strength and load distribution and ensures problem-free operation thanks to the reliable internal cam mechanism. The unchanged high strength is in optimum proportion to the weight. The E-THRU axle hub system minimizes twisting of the suspension and is light enough for sharp bends at high speeds.
