Not only the wealth of experience of the Alugear engineers, but also extensive tests have contributed to a considerable weight reduction without having to make any significant compromises in terms of impact resistance. Both the optimized arm design and strategic machining of the CNC-machined aluminium chainring are responsible for this. Meanwhile, the Narrow/Wide tooth profile ensures smooth chain running by keeping the chain securely in position at all times.

Visually, the chainring stands out with the typical Alugear AERO look. The chainring has an industrial hard anodization that noticeably increases its protection against mechanical shocks to ensure that it retains this look for a long time. The unique tooth profile, specially designed for use with mountain bike chains, also contributes to increased wear resistance. It also eliminates chain noise to ensure smooth operation of the entire system.
