The FLOAT SL shock absorber from FOX combines lightweight construction with Cross-Country-compatible efficiency. Completely revised compression and rebound valves not only ensure improved traction, but also a ride feel that is unparalleled in this category. As a representative of the Factory series, this rear shock is of course also packed with features to exceed the expectations of professionals and ambitious amateur athletes. And with the smooth and extremely durable Kashima coating, the versatile air spring damper also knows how to impress visually.

Featherweight Performance. A wider range of tuning options in the class of particularly light MTB shocks. The FLOAT SL fulfills this mission by adopting the inner workings of its FLOAT and FLOAT X sibling models, but dispensing with every unnecessary gram. On the technical side, the rider has three adjustment options (Open, Medium and Firm) that can be controlled via an integrated lever to achieve maximum efficiency in power transmission to the pedals.

Optimized to Race. Whether it is a XCO World Cup course or an all-day marathon race, this lightweight rear shock helps performance-oriented riders to reach their full potential. To enable maximum damping efficiency, the FLOAT SL combines the proven EVOL air suspension with a form factor suitable for a wide range of Cross Country and Trail bikes. While the SV models (Small Volume) are best suited to XC bikes with shorter suspension travel, the LV versions (Large Volume) show their strengths above all when used on wider framesets.
