KMC X Chain - WAXED | TiN Gold | 12-speed - gold/black

To meet even the highest demands, KMC has designed the chains of the X-Series with the specific characteristics of Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo drivetrains in mind. The outstanding property is the Double X-Bridge construction with precisely manufactured plates that feature dynamically chamfered edges. The result are gear changes that border on perfection and maximum smoothness.

This version of the X12 chain also has a special titanium-nitride coating, which not only impresses with its golden appearance, but also with its incredibly smooth and hard surface. The premium chain is given the finishing touch with GO WAX chain wax, which effectively improves shifting performance with its friction-reducing properties and extends the service life of the drivetrain.

Double X-Bridge | The precisely chamfered outer plates have precisely defined angles. This design enables not only faster but also more precise shifting.

TiN Gold | Titanium nitride is a chemical compound of the elements titanium and nitrogen. The ceramic material is characterized by very high hardness and corrosion resistance. With its typical golden yellow color, the special titanium nitride coating from KMC not only looks great, it is also extremely durable. And thanks to the ultra-smooth surface, seamless gear changes are guaranteed.

GO WAX | A noticeable reduction in friction and a significant improvement in shifting performance. The innovative dry wax formula from GO WAX makes this possible. The advanced KMC chain wax not only ensures optimum efficiency, but also extends the service life of the drivetrain by forming a water-repellent microfilm on the chain. This prevents permanently both heavy dirt adhesion and accelerated chain wear.
