VariGrip System

Whether you're winding around narrow trees on the narrow single trails in Massa Marittima or speeding through berms at high speed in the Sölden bike park: No problem with the VariGrip system - consisting of handlebars and matching grips. The VariGrip system makes it possible to adjust the handlebar width without shortening it. There are two versions of the aluminum MTB handlebars with the VariGrip system: A narrower version with a width of 710-760mm for XC and trail bikes and a wide version (760-810 mm) for enduro and downhill use. These two Evolution SL VGS aluminum handlebars are optionally available with 10, 25 and 40mm rise. 

Smart and simple were the goals when developing the VariGrip system. It was implemented using two threaded pieces that are firmly laminated into the handlebars and grip. This allows the grip to be infinitely adjusted by 25mm on each side. In addition, the bar ends on Newmen VGS handlebars have special, reinforced threaded sleeves that provide the necessary stability even at maximum handlebar width. A scale with 5mm spacing on the handlebars and the grip clamp with a 3mm hexagon socket make adjustment very easy and secure, even off-road. The Evolution SL VariGrip aluminum handlebar is perfect for bikers who like to experiment with different widths, for rental bikes and demo bike fleets. Of course, it only works with Newmen VariGrip grips.
