SILCA Super Secret Chain Lube provides the high speed and quiet chain running of a chain dipped in hot melted wax. Secret Chain Lube also uses the world's fastest and most lubricating additive, nanoscale tungsten disulfide. NanoPlatelet WS2 has less than 1/3 the dynamic coefficient of friction of PTFE and 1/4 that of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2).

Details of SILCA Super Secret chain wax

• The chain should be VERY clean and dry before application, see video below.
• Apply the lubricant according to the video and allow to dry for at least 12 hours for best results, 24 hours if applied in cool or damp weather! We recommend applying the lubricant AFTER your ride so it is ready for the next time!
• NOTE: Over time WS2 will settle to the bottom of the bottle, shake well before use!
• This formula is very environmentally friendly, using 4 different types of wax, nano platelets of WS2 (Tungsten Disulfides), and mild alcohol as a carrier. The same alcohol is used in SILCA Gear Wipes.
• Note: Temperature and humidity affect the drying time of SSCL, and the drier it is, the longer it will last. Drying time is also affected by temperature. Warmer temperatures and lower humidity will cause the lubricant to dry faster, while cold temperatures or higher humidity will cause it to take longer to dry. We recommend 24 hours as the optimum drying time.
