The XTR M9250 rear derailleur with the new SHIMANO SHADOW ES technology is stronger than ever and features a flat, wedge-shaped design. The stabilizer fits seamlessly into the rear derailleur body and has no edges, allowing it to glide over obstacles on the trail and neutralize most rock strikes and impacts. If an impact does occur, the rear derailleur absorbs the shock and then immediately returns to its original position thanks to the automatic reset function. The wide link structure, robust carbon plate, Skid-Plate-Design, and solid pulleys further increase the durability of the derailleur body.

• Low Profile Design - SHIMANO SHADOW ES technology features a wedge-shaped design that reduces the forward-facing surface area of the front derailleur and eliminates edges that could catch on rocks and roots.
• Automatic shock absorption function - The rear derailleur absorbs shocks on the trail and then automatically resets itself to ensure continuous performance.
• Super-strong design - The rear derailleur features wide, well-braced poles and solid pulleys to minimize dirt intrusion and ensure durability.
• New chain stabilization technology - The dual spring design provides higher chain tension for better chain wrap and retention.
• Battery protection - The sealed battery is securely housed in the rear derailleur body and cannot slip even on rough terrain, but can be easily removed for charging.
