Black Diamond Speed Zip 33 Backpack - Octane

The zippered clampshell version of the Black Diamond Speed is a proven alpine backpack that can be used anywhere in the world. It offers light weight and outstanding performance on rock, snow and ice. With its reworked BD X-rip 210d fabric with UTS™ coating, this pack is even more durable and will stand up to season after season of intense use on the rock.

Its comfort has been improved by a revised, moisture-wicking back element. The same applies to the redesigned shoulder straps made of dual-density foam for optimized load distribution in a compact format. The PickPockets™ for ice tools now have a new, specially designed metal ice tool holder that improves the safety of ice tools. The crampon straps and a stowable rope strap are used to secure the equipment on the outside without getting caught. New features include glove-friendly buckles attached directly to the webbing, while the proven inner cuff with drawcord makes access easier and keeps moisture out.
