Pedro's Pro Chain Whip II

Pedro's Pro Chain Whip II is inspired by the popular Vise Whip and applies many of the same functional principles to a more traditional chain whip design. The design of the Pro Chain Whip II focuses on functionality, practicality and safety. The innovative chain retaining hook offers several advantages. Firstly, it holds the chain securely to the tool during storage. Secondly, it improves user safety by locking the tool onto the cassette, ensuring complete chain wrap and preventing slippage. An added benefit of this feature is that the tool stays in place by itself. No more fumbling with your cassette lockring tool with one hand while trying to keep your chain whip in place. Because the Pro Chain Whip II is attached to the cassette, it can also be used to push the cassette off the hub. A good option for dirty cogs.

The tool features a 3/8-inch square drive that allows use with a torque wrench, an ergonomic TPR rubber grip for better control and a thicker handle for greater strength and rigidity. With travel mechanics and portability in mind, the geometry of the Pro Chain Whip maximizes effective leverage while keeping tool length to a compact 290mm and weight to 325g. The integrated fixie lockring wrench, optimized for 41-42mm outer diameter lockrings, adds versatility and means one less tool to carry. The Pro Chain Whip II is compatible with all multi-speed cassettes, including 13-speed, and the chain retention hook fits sprockets with up to 18 teeth.
