Cyclus Tools Chain Wear Indicator - silver

The CYCLUS TOOLS chain wear tester allows you to quickly and reliably determine the optimum time for a chain change. If a worn chain is not replaced in good time, this can lead to poor shifting performance. In addition, sprockets and chainrings can wear prematurely and also need to be replaced. The chain wear tester uses two sensors to measure the chain rollers on the inner plates on the same side. This means that the result is independent of the size of the rollers and the roller play. It can be used for all ½ inch chains, including SRAM® AXS®. A third probe tensions the chain using a spring so that the measurement is not affected by the force of the user when inserting the probes. The degree of wear is then displayed on a simple scale.
