Bosch eBike Systems is changing its production for reasons of sustainability. In future, the black color coating will be dispensed with, giving the housing a silver appearance. As a result, both color variants will initially be available on the market.

No memory effect

Bosch batteries with lithium-ion cells can be charged quickly irrespective of your charge level at any time. Interruptions of the charging process do not harm the battery. Complete discharge is not required.

Extremely low self-discharge

Even after long periods of storage, e.g. over winter, the battery can be used without recharging. This means Bosch rechargeable batteries do not need to be recharged after a long break in use. For longer storage, a charge status of approx. 30 to 60% is recommended.

Long service life

Bosch batteries are designed for lots of trips, miles and years of service. The intelligent, electronic Bosch Battery Management System protects lithium-ion batteries from extreme temperatures, overcharging, and excessive discharge.

Please make sure you order the correct version of the battery (horizontal or vertical).

Due to the different battery designs and mounts, the new PowerTube 600 (BBP3860) and PowerTube 800 (BBP388Y)batteries are not interchangeable with PowerTube 750 (BBP377Y), PowerTube 625 (BBP376Y) , PowerTube 800 or PowerTube 500 (BBP375Y).
