New and improved POWERFLOW PRO midsole: With the next generation of MUDTALON™ shoes, Inov-8 has taken the opportunity to further improve the POWERFLOW PRO midsole. This super-lightweight foam offers a high level of cushioning while providing the ground feel needed for running on uneven, technical terrain. We've also made the foam a little firmer to extend the life of the shoe.

META-PLATE rock plate: A flexible META-PLATE rock plate is located between the midsole and outsole of the MUDTALON™V2. This protects against sharp or hard objects underfoot, while the flexibility of the plate ensures that you can still move your foot naturally even in technical terrain.

NATURALFIT™: Inov-8's shoes fit snugly in the heel and midfoot for a secure ride. They are cut wider in the toe area so that the toes can spread and move naturally. This allows you to feel the ground better and realize your full, natural potential.

The MUDTALON™ V2 has a durable, quick-drying upper with a MET-CRADLE overlay that secures your foot at the heel and midfoot when you tighten the laces. Available in a precise, narrower fit or a roomier wide fit, the V2 widens at the toe to allow your toes to spread out. The MUDTALON™ V2 is the perfect shoe for long distances on difficult, muddy surfaces and offers the optimal mix of grip, cushioning and ground feel.
