La Sportiva Theory Climbing Shoes Men - Yellow/Black
The Theory is an indoor climbing shoe designed to adapt perfectly to the shapes of holds and volumes of indoor climbing. The extreme sensitivity and high dynamics allow a unique adaptability on the edges, making the shoe perfect for indoor use. The development of the Theory is based on a study by La Sportiva's R&D department of the gorilla's grip and the sensitivity of cat's paws, combined with the study of the evolution of new indoor climbing routes, which are characterized by very wide volumes and extremely dynamic movements.
This boot has been designed to develop maximum strength and dexterity while maintaining the highest sensitivity on any type of holds. New construction with exclusive D-Tech™ technology (Dynamic Technology): the sole wraps around the sides of the shoe to make the lateral edges disappear, ensuring a dynamic approach and adaptability to the shapes of the most modern indoor holds. The Vibram® XS-Grip2 compound sole with differentiated thicknesses on the toe supports grip on the edges, while the reduced volume heel allows for maximum precision on heel hooks.
The rubber toe covers the front surface of the upper to support the toe hook while maintaining adaptability to different foot types. The overall construction of the shoe facilitates the application of pressure on the volume of the modern indoor route setting as well as the support during cross kicking thanks to its high adaptability. The upper Velcro fastening enables optimum tension regulation. Theory: climbing-species evolution!
