With the new Rex Domestique Drip Wax liquid wax, you get the benefits of hot waxing, such as extreme cleanliness, low friction, and effective wear protection, combined with the ease of use of oils applied from a bottle.

Domestique Drip Wax offers an affordable and plentiful solution for chain waxing. It is made from the white blocks of the Black Diamond wax package. The Rex white wax blend is a precisely optimized mix of paraffins and additives. The difference to its more expensive sibling, Black Magik, is only the lack of the Black Diamond additives.

Domestique Drip Wax is the market’s first completely uncompromising liquid wax, matching the composition of hot wax exactly.

Its completely non-oily formula was developed in collaboration with Helsinki University university researchers specializing in emulsion technology. The advanced emulsion process transforms the wax into extremely fine microdroplets. When the water, which acts as a carrier agent, evaporates, only genuine Rex wax remains.

You’ll notice its similarity to hot waxes from the fact that it stiffens the chain after lubrication, like hot wax. During the short run-in period, the chain becomes flexible and excess wax flakes off the surface. The internal and external pressure of the chain compresses the wax droplets back into a solid form resembling hot wax.

The result is long-lasting lubrication that surpasses the durability and dirt-repellency of traditional emulsion waxes.
