How to use

To benefit optimally from the buffering effect of 6d Ultra Buffer, a dose of 0.3-0.4 g sodium bicarbonate per kg body weight is required in preparation for the final stage of the race. For a person weighing 70 kg, this corresponds to 21-28 g of sodium bicarbonate. This dose can be achieved by drinking 500 ml of 6d Ultra Buffer every hour during competitions lasting at least 4 hours. For shorter competitions, pre-loading with 6d sodium bicarbonate capsules is recommended. Mix 97 g powder (= 3 scoops) with 500 ml water. Drink 500 ml per hour during exercise. Please do not exceed this dose to avoid excessive salt intake. Take a few sips of Ultra Buffer at a time and preferably rinse with water to minimize the risk of gastrointestinal discomfort.
