The ARC rims were developed together with the Wheel Tire System technology and can be ridden on the front wheel with the AERO 111 tire to achieve the ultimate aerodynamic setup. On a mission to take the lead and develop the fastest wheels yet, DT Swiss has achieved the goal of developing wider, taller, yet lighter rims. Wider rims

It's no secret that professional cycling has switched to wider tires in recent years. To support this optimally, a wider inner rim width is required. An inner rim width of 22mm is ideal for the 29mm AERO 111 tire, which has become the new standard, while providing optimal aerodynamic performance.

V-shape

Increasing the inner width of the rim has a direct effect on the frontal area of the wheel. The V-shape of the rim compensates for this and optimizes aerodynamic drag. As tests in the wind tunnel show, this shape clearly offers the lowest measured basic resistance. It also ensures a low steering torque and therefore a smooth steering feel for the driver.

3 profile heights

Thanks to the three different rim heights, a wide range of riding preferences can be covered: Do you like to ride fast on a variety of terrain without fearing the occasional steep climb? Then the 55 mm rim height is ideal for you. The 65mm deep rims let you lead the sprint with their fast, aero-optimized profile and are ideal for flat rides on flat terrain. The highest rim, the 85mm, is the fastest and offers the lowest air resistance, ideal for triathlons or time trials.

Aero-optimized components

No stone has been left unturned. Thanks to DT Swiss' know-how, all components have been coordinated to create the ideal wheelset, which is not only aerodynamically optimized, but also offers excellent riding characteristics. Aero-optimized spokes, which have been reduced to 20 on the front wheel, ensure a slight reduction in drag while also saving weight.

DT Swiss hubs are known for the no-tool concept. The concept allows tool-free conversion to all common axle and freehub body standards.
