Assos UMA GTV S11 Spring Fall BibTights Women - black series

The pinnacle endurance platform for cool, wet conditions, engineered for convenience with the bisiClick bib strap system. The S11 generation is updated with a more supple, more protective stormproof softshell, increased thermoregulation, and higher breathability.

Anchored by the Ultra Distance S11 insert and equipped with proprietary softshell technology, the GTV S11 is equipped for long-distance riding in the cool, wet conditions of the shoulder seasons. The core panel of the tights is protected by Assos' new CORE Light 3L softshell, a highly elastic, breathable, and stormproof shield. The tights’ body is constructed with OSMOS Light, a more insulating textile than the previous generation, and new reflective elements add visibility in low-light, overcast conditions.

The new UD S11 Insert is adapted from the DYORA RSV Bib Shorts S11, incorporating the same additional shock-absorbing modules beneath the ischial bones and hyper-breathability – maximum comfort for high-mileage rides. The bisiClick construction also carries over to the shoulder seasons, with two magnetic closures that facilitate natural breaks with convenient bib-strap release.

CORE Light is part of the new CORE softshell family, the successor of Assos AIRBLOCK-EVO family. It combines a four-way stretch warp-knit, a breathable membrane, and an ECO water-repellent treatment to shield against precipitation and wind while expelling internal moisture with a silky-soft lining. OSMOS Light provides the lightest insulation of Assos OSMOS thermal family. It actively modulates temperature to prevent overheating, and its warp knit structure provides compressive support to stimulate blood circulation.

Construction/fit

Assos streamlined regularFit provides total comfort for longer rides, and the Louvre Tec design pattern specially shapes the knee to eliminate friction while pedaling. Raw-cut finishing reduces bulk for layering.

Engineering

• bisiClick: Twin magnetic closures anchor the bib straps. Intuitive to connect and release, but secure enough to prevent unintentional unclasping.
• X-Frame: A suspension design originally engineered for the Racing Series. Limits sag on the lower back, stabilizing the insert and main body panels.
• Reflective: Large stripes on the lower legs increase visibility in low-light, overcast conditions, flashing light throughout the pedal stroke.

  • Shock-Absorb Damping System Twin: A two-layer racing platform of 9mm foam supplemented with 4mm ultraDistance inserts under the sit bones. Thermoformed shaping eliminates ridges and irritation.
  • 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
  • kraterCooler: Perforations in the inserts’ leading edge expel internal moisture to maintain breathability and a dry, warm microclimate.
