Castelli Competizione Bibtights Men - black 010
This is a cycling tight, plain and simple. It's made for the cyclist who doesn't shy away from winter and is designed to cover the widest possible temperature range, from cool days to sub-zero temperatures when you want full wind protection.
The simple look is deceptive: behind the clean lines is a lot of technology. The trousers use three different materials to provide ideal protection for every part of the body. On the front, from the waist to the knee, Castelli's Core Due material is used, a densely knitted, heavier polyester/nylon blend that keeps out most of the wind. The polyester content lies directly against the skin and actively regulates moisture. The fibers are hollow on the inside so that the air-filled void inside provides additional thermal insulation.
On the back, a highly stretchable fleece material on the thighs and seat supports the fit. From the knee to the ankle, Castellis Thermoflex offers perfect warmth and stretch and with only one seam on the inside of the leg, friction on the knee is prevented. An unhemmed opening at the ankle, flat knitted straps and the KISS Air2 seat pad round off the tight.
