When you face an uphill climb, the Fastlane Premium electric bike is your perfect companion for maintaining your pace and quickly conquering the ascent with that little extra boost of power and plenty of fun. The Fastlane Premium is one of the most discreet electric bikes in its class. The sleek, aerodynamic frame houses the harmonious TQ-HPR40 drive system. It delivers smooth 40 Nm of assistance and uses a 290-Wh rechargeable battery so the rider can stay powerful on the road longer, even when their own legs get tired.
The HPR40’s smooth power delivery ensures natural pedal assistance with virtually no motor resistance. If you run out of steam on an incline, the motor reliably kicks in to help. On flat terrain, it assists up to 25 km/h and then switches off imperceptibly.
The Fastlane was specifically designed to offer a riding experience that closely resembles that of a classic bike, both visually and in terms of riding dynamics. It’s perfect as an energy-saving companion on strenuous weekend tours or for relaxed commutes where you arrive less sweaty. Yet it always feels as though the power is coming entirely from your own strength.
The HPR40 drive unit from TQ is even more discreet, compact, and lightweight than its predecessors. It takes the riding experience to a new level and ensures that pedaling feels almost as efficient as on a conventional bike. Pedaling resistance is minimal, and the assistance engages and disengages so smoothly that it’s barely noticeable whether propulsion comes from your own power or the motor.
Hidden within the Fastlane’s sleek silhouette is a 290-Wh rechargeable battery that offers enough power for long days on the road—perfect for discovering new favorite routes. TQ’s rechargeable battery operates exceptionally efficiently, enabling more miles per watt-hour.
Charging to 100% takes only about three hours. Thanks to the exceptionally compact charger, which even fits in a jersey pocket, the bicycle can be conveniently recharged during a quick coffee break—ideal for extended tours and exploratory rides.
To keep the ride free of distractions, the cockpit was deliberately designed to be uncluttered. Instead of large displays, there is simply an unobtrusive controller at the end of the handlebars used to turn the bicycle on and off. Riding modes can be conveniently switched using the buttons on the brake levers, which are intuitively accessible and thus safer while riding.
By connecting to a cycling computer via ANT+, the rider has all important ride data right in front of them without disrupting the bicycle’s clean, minimalist design.
The Fastlane’s well-thought-out design also encompasses the bike’s entire energy management system. The integrated rechargeable battery powers all components. The taillight, shifting, and drive system are directly connected to the main battery, meaning only a single rechargeable battery needs to be charged. That translates to fewer cables, less hassle, and more time to plan your next ride.
In addition to the rechargeable battery integrated into the down tube, all SCOTT models with TQ drive are compatible with an additional 160-Wh range extender. This auxiliary rechargeable battery is available as an accessory and resembles a water bottle in appearance. Thanks to SCOTT’s proprietary quick-release system, it can be mounted tool-free in place of a bottle cage.
