The by,schulz Z.1 Z-Line folding pedal is a versatile platform pedal solution, ideal for city, urban and e-bike use. The unusual forged aluminum construction in combination with a large central bearing makes it possible to lower the pedal surface to the zero line of the pedal axle. This enables a unique, comfortable and fatigue-free pedaling experience.

The generously dimensioned tread surface with high-quality, non-slip grip tape provides additional comfort. Furthermore, the user can also lower the saddle thanks to the lowered tread surface. This promotes better ground contact and a more secure footing when stopping.

When folded, the folding pedal takes up very little space (approx. 27 mm) and is fixed to the crank and adjustable. When unfolded, it automatically swings out and is immediately ready for use. The pedal has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 4210 with an increased test load and is approved for a rider weight of up to 150 kg. It goes without saying that the pedal is secured against accidental folding away during operation by a sophisticated mechanism and is still very easy to operate.
