The versatile and adaptable Y MountainLine 40 Daypack is a modern, lightweight and durable backpack for any mountain. When Bergans started planning this backpack, several experienced mountaineers told them that they didn't need another product in their already extensive daypack collection. What they wanted was a backpack that would be suitable for all their mountain adventures, all year round. So Bergans developed the Y MountainLine 40 Daypack! A product that you can easily adapt to any adventure in any environment. Make it a lightweight, small fastpack or a fully equipped avalanche backpack. The simple exterior is the result of a careful design process with the aim of saving weight and reducing the number of seams to a minimum to ensure the best possible waterproofness. Thanks to the roll-top design, you can quickly and easily adjust the size of the backpack to suit your needs. The back can be opened completely so that you have free access to your equipment and can keep an overview. Maybe you don't need the hip belt? Then simply remove it and carry the backpack without the hip belt. If you then remove the back reinforcement, you have a feather-light rucksack weighing just 667g. At the other end of the construction scale is a fully equipped avalanche backpack. The Y MountainLine 40 Daypack is compatible with Safeback SBX Avalanche Survival technology. This patented technology keeps buried avalanche victims breathing and increases their survival window under the snow.
