Profile Design Extensions - ASC Pro | Carbon - 375mm

With the ASC Pro models, Profile Design is returning to the category of one-piece extensions, which the US manufacturer introduced almost 20 years ago with the Sonic Stryke. Designed specifically for triathletes and time trialists, these extensions offer a remarkable balance of comfort and aerodynamics that is otherwise only found in custom-made models. The design of the extensions, which are available in three fixed lengths, features a seamless carbon construction that includes the ergonomically shaped, 43-degree-angled grip area and armrests, which offer high lateral support and are based on the popular "Race+" shape.

Using the appropriate accessories, there are also a variety of adjustment options that allow for further optimization of the position. With the help of the tilt wedge adapters (not included), for example, the base angle of 15 degrees can be finely adjusted within a range of 10 to 25 degrees, while additional padding provides complete arm support – for even more comfort from the armrests to the transition in the grip area. The mounts are compatible with the A3 riser system and feature a standard offset of 15 mm. With the appropriate adapter (not included, see compatibility), they can also be used in combination with the A2 riser system. There exists also a mount with a 5 mm offset (not included). Even more options are available by turning or rotating the aluminum mounts.

Compatibility:

Before purchasing the ASC Pro extensions, it is important to determine the stack height and the number of riser elements required. As part of the A3 riser system, the ASC Pro extensions brackets are compatible with all A3 components:

Using the "A2 to A3" adapters (sold separately, add 15 mm to the stack height), the extensions can also be attached to basebars that use the A2 riser system:

Due to the specific hole spacing and the special shape in the mounting area, the extensions can only be used in conjunction with the ASC Pro mounts. In addition to the version with a 15 mm offset (in scope of delivery), there is also a mount with a 5 mm offset (sold separately).
