With this 12 mm thru axle for trailers from Burley, Chariot, Thule, Croozer and many more, attaching the couplings to the wheel is very easy. Replace the existing thru axle with a The Robert Axle Project thru axle and connect your trailer to the bike. This is done via a 10 x 1 mm thread on the non-drive side, which fits any trailer hitch that works with a 10 x 1 mm thread or 9 mm standard quick release. Axles with variable axle widths are supplied with corresponding spacers.

• Thru axle compatible with couplings of many bike trailers such as Burley, Thule Chariot, Croozer and many more.
• The actual length of the axle length is 229mm. It can be shortened with the flat 6mm spacer included in the scope of delivery.
• This enables axle lengths of 223mm or 229mm. Please note: Thru axle lengths do not correspond to the hub standards. An axle must be longer than the hub to fit into the frame. A 12×148mm hub does not correspond to a 148mm axle.
• M12x1.5mm thread
• The axle shaft and axle end are precision CNC-milled.
• The axle shaft is made of 7075 aluminum and is anodized black for lengthy durability.
• The axle end for the hitch is made of stainless steel and allows the trailer hitch to be fitted.
• No special tools required. The design allows the wheels to be installed or removed with a standard hex key.
