SADDLE BAG / 02 is the classic among bikepacking bags. It can hold a lot of luggage in the slipstream of the rider. Typically, however, such bags tend to swing back and forth, especially when riding out of the saddle. That's why Cyclite has paid special attention to ensuring a stable attachment. The bag is individually secured to each saddle rail using aluminum hooks and a sturdy strap system. Thanks to the central carbon bar, this creates a very stable, ultra-light luggage compartment. For stiffer packing with the roll closure, the bag has a valve as an air outlet. Additional equipment can be secured on the top with elastic straps. Mounting options for the rear light are also available. The SADDLE BAG / 02 is particularly suitable for storing items that you don't necessarily need to access while riding, such as a sleeping bag, toiletries, and a change of clothes. Thanks to the LiteGrid-RN200T3 material developed by Cyclite, the SADDLE BAG / 02 is ultra-light, robust, and weatherproof. Two different types of nylon are woven together using a special weaving technique to create a ripstop fabric, which is then coated on both sides and high-frequency welded. The result is the perfect combination of lightness and stability – for weatherproof products that are easy to clean.

Compatibility

The SADDLE BAG requires a minimum vertical distance of 23 cm between the bottom edge of the seat stays and the rear tire (measured in a compressed state on full suspension bikes). The seatpost extension or seatpost length to the base of the seat stays must be at least 15 cm. If the saddle clamp protrudes beyond the seatpost, it should be turned forward to avoid friction with the bag. If a dropper seatpost is used, the drop must also be taken into account to prevent the bag from touching the rear tire and causing damage. Also perfect for use with aero seatposts. Maximum seatpost width = 6 cm. Can also be used with carbon seatposts without any problems.
