Technologies of the Giant TCR ADVANCED 2

Advanced Composite Technology - GIANT's high-performance carbon fiber is used to make this special carbon frame material, which is woven and processed in-house and has an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front frame triangle is molded as a single piece. The modified monocoque construction eliminates the outer braided composite layer. This reduces weight without compromising ride quality, stability or stiffness.

Compact Road Design - The Compact Road design was introduced by GIANT in the 1990s with the professional team ONCE and revolutionized the look of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping top tube creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bicycle. It makes it easier for riders of all sizes to get the perfect fit.

Powercore - The PowerCore bottom bracket shell is another point that contributes to Giant's high frame stiffness. The wide fit of the bottom bracket shells and the good connection around the MegaDrive down tube increase frame stiffness.

Tubeless System - Fewer punctures. Better traction. Less rolling resistance. GIANT's tubeless system makes mounting easier and provides extra riding fun.
