The BR-C3001 roller brakes from Shimano's Nexus series deliver greater braking power than their predecessors and correspondingly better deceleration performance under heavy loads. They even exceed the EN requirements for the total weight of front and rear brakes (100 kg). The best braking performance at high loads are achieved in combination with the Nexus BL-C6010 lever. The stainless steel outer cable sleeve not only enhances the appearance, but also increases the product's service life.

In terms of braking power and heat dissipation, the rear wheel-specific version is on par with the reference model BR-C3000.
