Thanks to the lightweight, extremely high-performance softshell material, the Cosmic Pro Wind is Mavic's most versatile jacket - and indispensable for all cyclists who rely on the "onion principle" from fall to spring instead of buying special clothing for every weather condition. Without insulation, but with efficient protection against wind and moisture, this jacket performs well from fall to spring.
You can ensure the right level of warmth with the layers underneath: from a thin short-sleeved baselayer for windy late summer days to a thermo jersey for icy winter days. The 3-layer softshell material on the chest and arms with its waterproof membrane (hydrostatic head: 10,000 mm) keeps out wind and moisture. Thanks to its incredibly soft feel, the jacket can even be worn next to the skin. At the back, Mavic use a breathable, structured fleece material with efficient thermal regulation for more intensive use.
The Cosmic collection is aimed at racers, climbing specialists or simply anyone who values top performance in their clothing. That's why we've given this jacket a closer fit to the body for maximum aero performance in the riding position. The bonded sections contribute to the clean look of the jacket, while silicone prints on the waistband ensure a perfect fit at all times.
