The 16° flare angle provides a wide grip position on the lower handlebar – ideal for more control on technical terrain.

Double/triple butted are manufacturing processes in which the aluminum tube is butted to achieve lower weight with the same stiffness values. Butted tubes are shaped with a consistent outer diameter so that the wall thickness is thicker at the ends of the tube. This makes the tubes more durable and therefore more stable at their ends, where most of the forces occur. In the middle of the tube, where less force is exerted, this system saves weight.
