Details of the Giro Eclipse Pro Road Helmet

Spherical Technology 
The ball-and-socket design of Spherical Technology powered by Mips® helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer shell to rotate around the inner shell during an impact. It also prevents hard plastic or sliding surfaces from coming into contact with the skin.

15 Ventilation Openings
Giro helmets are equipped with the company’s proprietary Wind Tunnel ventilation system. This sophisticated design combines active vents in the helmet shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet. This allows cool, fresh air to flow over the head while simultaneously drawing heat and stale air out.

Extremely low weight
Weighing just 280 g (size M), this aero road helmet is lighter than most other fully ventilated bike helmets on the market.

AURA II Reinforcement Arch
These shatter-resistant, transparent twin bridges run through the entire helmet, providing structural stability without adding unnecessary weight. They also enable optimal ventilation.

DRYCORE™ 
The DryCore™ sweat management system uses an internal silicone bead to wick moisture away from the forehead, preventing sweat from dripping into the eyes.

PROGRESSIVE LAYERING™ 
Giro helmets featuring Progressive Layering™ use two EPS foam liners of different densities to absorb impacts at high and low speeds, enabling more comprehensive energy management.

DEEP INTERNAL CHANNELING
The specially designed inner lining supports airflow through the helmet. Combined with our Wind Tunnel™ vents, cool air can enter more easily and warm air can escape more easily.

ROC LOC® 5.5 AIR FIT SYSTEM
The patented Roc Loc® 5.5 Air design ensures the helmet sits slightly above the head, allowing a cool airflow to pass directly over the head. This optimizes the performance of the vents and internal channels that draw heat away from the helmet. The fit and adjustment options are similar to those of the Roc Loc® 5. This allows you to individually adjust the tension as well as the forward and backward tilt with just one hand in a matter of seconds. Reflective details provide additional visibility.

IONIC+® Padding 
Pure silver gives the IONIC+® padding the power it needs for long-lasting, natural odor protection. This keeps the helmet fresh at all times.
