With the RECO 81 LINK, you are optimally protected on every ride. The smart radar with integrated rear light detects vehicles approaching you from behind and makes you visible from afar - by day and by night. The stoplight and emergency brake light provide additional safety.

Safety with vision

The radar of the RECO 81 LINK ensures that approaching vehicles do not overlook you: A bright warning light signals to motorists that they are approaching a cyclist. At the same time, if you are using a cycling computer compatible with RECO 81, you will be warned yourself and can adjust your speed and position on the road accordingly.

Digital rearview mirror

Connect your RECO 81 LINK to your GPS bicycle computer via ANT+ and always keep an eye on the traffic behind you. The system recognizes up to eight approaching vehicles and shows them directly on your display. RECO 81 LINK Radar distinguishes between normally approaching objects and fast approaching vehicles.

Scatter axis and viewing angle

The RECO 81 LINK impresses with a sophisticated scattering axis: a scattering angle of 2 × 30° from the center axis ensures that vehicles are detected in a wide corridor behind you. Up to 8 objects are detected by the radar at a distance of up to 140 meters. The light has a viewing angle of 220 degrees - so you remain visible all around - for maximum safety day and night.

Visual and audible alarms

Connect your RECO 81 LINK to your SIGMA ROX 12.1 or 11.1 EVO GPS bicycle computer and receive visual and acoustic alerts as soon as vehicles approach from behind - so you can react immediately. From spring 2026, SIGMA RIDE app users will also be able to benefit from the safety features of the RECO models. The RIDE app will then also offer the option of being alerted acoustically and visually to approaching vehicles. Until then, RECO 80 LINK and RECO 81 LINK can be connected to the RIDE app to display the status and carry out firmware updates.

The radar rear light has an integrated LED brake light function and an emergency brake light function that reacts in fractions of a second. This ensures that following traffic is aware of you when it matters most.

Your RECO is compatible with the SIGMA AURA 100 Link front light, creating an intelligent lighting combination that allows you to conveniently operate both devices via the front light and keep an eye on the battery status at all times. This allows you to control your entire light setup at the touch of a button - simple, safe and smart.

Rechargeable

RECO 81 LINK is rechargeable via USB-C - very straightforward and environmentally friendly. In round 3 hours, the rechargeable battery is fully charged and ready for your next tour.

Six modes. Full flexibility.

RECO 81 LINK has six light modes for every riding situation. In High Mode, the rear light provides powerful continuous lighting (15 hours), while Radar Only Mode only activates the light when a vehicle is approaching - with a runtime of up to 30 hours. Day Flash (21h), Night Flash (23h), Eco Flash (27h) and the innovative Peloton Mode (26h) are also available. This has been specially developed for group rides: It reduces the light intensity so as not to dazzle fellow riders, while the radar function remains active - for team safety and maximum consideration.

The light is highly visible from a distance of up to 500 meters.

Whether riding in the rain or splashing water - your RECO remains reliably ready for use. It is certified to IP67.

Fits every bicycle

No matter which bike you ride - the RECO 81 LINK can be attached easily and securely thanks to its flexible mounting options. With the included rubber adapters, it fits perfectly on D-shaped seatposts, aero seatposts or round seatposts. You can then twist the radar into the bracket using the twist lock. This ensures that your rear light is stable and perfectly aligned - for maximum visibility on every ride.
