Features of the Inov-8 TrailFly V2 running shoes for men
- New and improved G-GRIP™: Inov-8 has reformulated the graphene-enriched G-GRIP™ rubber to increase its slip resistance on wet surfaces compared to the first generation of the TRAILFLY™ series. The innovative use of graphene extends the life of the rubber outsole, so you can enjoy reliable grip and incredible durability on both dry and wet surfaces.
- Lug pattern optimized for hard and rocky surfaces: 4mm graphene-enriched rubber lugs are carefully arranged in multiple directions to improve grip, quickly repel debris, increase propulsion from the toes and help you brake with your heel.
- New and improved POWERFLOW PRO midsole: With the next generation of TRAILFLY™ shoes, inov-8 has taken the opportunity to further improve the POWERFLOW PRO midsole. This super-lightweight foam offers a high level of cushioning while providing the ground feel needed for running on uneven, technical terrain. Inov-8 has also made the foam slightly firmer to extend the life of the shoe.
- META-PLATE Rock Plate: A flexible META-PLATE Rock Plate is located between the midsole and outsole of the TRAILFLY™ V2. This protects against sharp or hard objects underfoot, while the flexibility of the plate ensures that you can still move your feet naturally even in technical terrain.
- NATURALFIT™: Inov-8's shoes sit firmly on the heel and midfoot for a secure fit. They are cut wider in the toe area so that the toes can spread and move naturally. This allows you to feel the ground better and realize your full, natural potential.

The revised G-GRIP™ of the V2 offers improved slip resistance on wet surfaces compared to the V1. The updated POWERFLOW PRO midsole is even more durable and resistant than the previous version, increasing the lifespan of the shoe. And new KPU overlays on the upper of the TRAILFLY™ V2 offer improved protection against rough rocks and vegetation. The TRAILFLY™ V2 was developed for long distances on long trails and is suitable for daily training as well as longer runs and competitions.
