SON 29 S – Slim. Strong. Straightpull.

The particularly narrow construction of the 29 S front wheel hub from SON hardly suggests that it contains a dynamo. And thanks to an improved generator design, this is actually quite powerful. Even at comparatively low speeds, the hub dynamo achieves the standardized nominal data of 3 watts of power at 6 volts of voltage.

In this way, it not only meets the German StVZO requirements for 29-inch wheels, but also offers higher performance values than the SON 28 models, which also makes it suitable for charging via charger. Meanwhile, the integrated coaxial socket enables a solid connection of the SON coaxial plug (not included), which in turn allows the front light cable to be conveniently connected and disconnected when installing and removing the wheel. Last but not least, the Straightpull spoking technology ensures an optimum ratio of stiffness or load capacity to weight.
