ÖHLINS TTX2 Air m.2 Rear Shock - 210x55 mm

The Öhlins TTX2Air m.2 utilizes proven twin-tube technology (TTX) in a double-can air shock absorber with higher volume, which was specially developed for more progressive suspension kinematics. With reduced friction, improved sensitivity, and greater comfort, as well as maximum traction and control, the shock absorber offers an even smoother ride feel, similar to that of a steel spring shock absorber.  This is made possible by new gaskets and the introduction of a bladder system, which results in better rear wheel control and stronger ground contact. The redesigned shock absorber allows the rear wheel to track the terrain more precisely in rough passages – for superior traction and precise handling.

The TTX2Air m.2 features an improved climb mode that provides more support on tough climbs and technical ascents. For added convenience, the shock absorber is compatible with remote systems that can be operated directly from the handlebars. The system works with any remote that generates 7.5 mm of cable travel per click. A redesigned spacer system makes it easier to adjust the air volume in the positive chamber. The stroke adjustment has also been simplified – the end eye no longer needs to be removed for adjustments. The result is an extremely sensitive, easy-to-tune shock absorber that allows for a perfectly tuned suspension setup.

Externally, the TTX2Air m.2 has been equipped with a new adjustment knob that allows for faster and more intuitive fine-tuning – even on the go. In addition, the design has been modernized with updated graphics, giving the shock absorber a clean, contemporary look.

The rear shock is delivered from the factory with the maximum possible stroke length and can be adjusted to shorter stroke lengths using the included spacer kit.

Please note:
Mounting kits are available for universal shock absorbers. These include reducing sleeves, plastic or aluminum washers, and gaskets for mounting the shock absorber on various mountain bikes. Mounting kits are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately if required.
