Description

Fizik Ergolace 2 GTX MTB Shoes - black/black

Dream big with the Ergolace 2 GTX. A versatile off-road and adventure shoe that combines advanced, waterproof materials with a “go-anywhere” attitude. A reliable companion for any gravel or trail ride, whether it’s a bikepacking trip or an electric bike exploration off the beaten path.

The Ergolace 2 GTX is a lightweight, durable, quick-drying, and waterproof shoe for riders who dream of venturing far beyond the asphalt. The Ergolace 2 GTX builds on the strengths of its predecessor and stands out with a wider fit, a sleeker design, and a redesigned outsole that offers even better traction on loose or uneven terrain. Available here in a version compatible with clipless pedals.

Live your dream
The Ergolace 2 GTX features a redesigned fit that’s wider in the midfoot, offering more room for your toes and a roomier overall fit—which boosts comfort during long days on the bike or when walking with your bike.

No More Weather Nightmares
The Ergolace 2 GTX was specifically designed for use in wet weather and features a lightweight GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane that provides waterproof and breathable protection, keeping you dry without adding weight or bulk. The shoe’s upper is made of a lighter, flat ripstop fabric that dries quickly—ideal for muddy trails or adventures on damp gravel. Wide, PU-laminated panels provide extra protection and durability, while the toe cap is reinforced to shield your feet from rocks and roots.

The Same Support, Only Faster
The closure system is ergonomically and asymmetrically designed so as not to interfere with pedaling on the bike. Proven worldwide in the first Ergolace model, the latest version of the closure system ensures that your feet remain secure and stable even under the most extreme riding conditions. The Speedlace system is easy to lock and unlock, even while riding, offering a convenient way to adjust the fit.

X2 Sole - A Grippy Groove
TheX2 soleprovides exactly the kind of shoe-to-pedal connection you need for fast trail riding and gravel adventures. It combines a grippy Vibram Megagrip rubber compound with a specialized zone-specific lug pattern. In the midfoot area, lower lugs with a more regular shape are integrated to improve mechanical grip on the pedals; the pedal pins fit better into the grooves of the outsole and lock the shoe securely in place.
