Fizik Ergolace 2 Flat MTB Shoes - forest green/caramel

Description

Fizik Ergolace 2 Flat MTB Shoes - forest green/caramel

Dream big with the Ergolace 2 Flat. A versatile off-road shoe that combines advanced, lightweight materials with a “go-anywhere” attitude. A reliable companion for every gravel tour, trail ride, or bikepacking trip that fully harnesses the adventure potential of flat pedals.

The Ergolace 2 Flat is a lightweight, durable, quick-drying, and extremely comfortable shoe for flat-pedal riders who dream of venturing beyond the asphalt. The Ergolace 2 Flat builds on the strengths of its predecessor and impresses with a wider fit, a sleeker profile, and a redesigned X2 outsole that offers even more stability on loose or uneven terrain and better grip on flat pedals.

Live Your Dream
The Ergolace 2 Flat features a redesigned fit that has more width in the midfoot area, offering more freedom of movement for the toes and an overall roomier fit, which enhances comfort during long days on the bike or when walking with the bike.

Less Material, More Protection
The upper is made of a lightweight and breathable ripstop fabric that eliminates excess material and unnecessary bulk, allowing the shoes to dry quickly and feel even lighter. The width of the PU-coated sections provides additional protection and durability, while the toe area has been reinforced to protect your feet from rocks and roots.

The same support, only faster
The Ergolace 2 Flat’s closure system is ergonomically and asymmetrically designed so as not to interfere with pedaling. The closure system—which has already proven itself worldwide in the first Ergolace model—ensures, even in its latest version, that feet remain secure and stable even under the most extreme riding conditions. The Speedlace system can be easily locked and released even while riding, offering a convenient way to customize the fit.

X2 Sole – A Grippy Groove
The redesigned X2 Flat sole provides exactly the kind of shoe-to-pedal connection you need for fast trail riding and gravel adventures by combining the highly grippy Vibram XS Ride rubber compound with a particular, zone-specific lug pattern. In the midfoot area, the lugs are lower and have a more regular shape to improve mechanical grip on the pedals; the pedal pins fit better into the grooves of the outsole and keep the shoe secure even on rougher terrain.
